I've been seeing lots of purples around the yard lately. I love the different colors of spring! I think most of these are wildflowers and I'm sorry that I don't know their names but I would appreciate any help identifying them!

Long time, no posts! This week has been rather hectic! Here's a few pictures from last weekend. I spent the weekend with my honey in Virginia Beach and he took me to the aquarium! It's sortof difficult to take pictures there because 1. the fish are constantly swimming because...well they're fish and that's what they do and 2. the lighting is pretty dim. I was surprised to see that some turned out though! Good memories of a fun weekend! I wish I knew the names of the various fish, my boyfriend was very helpful to point them out to me!

Thanks to vanilla & lace for giving me an "aha" moment! You know what I mean, you find something that is completely useful to you, but wonder how on earth you didn't think of it yourself! What a simple idea! My ugly ole black Sony camera bag is getting the shelf. You can find instructions along with a lot more useful and adorable ideas here
I'm still just so amazed at this idea...I carry my camera everywhere I go and never thought to put it in a stylish bag.

my sister's bridal shower

My sister is getting married in a month and I'm thrilled to see her so happy. I snapped a few photos of her shower she had last weekend. My dear friends threw the shower for her and I'm always in awe of their decorating taste and creativity! The food was delicious and the company was fantastic. I loved every detail!

Happy Tuesday! There's not a whole lot going on, but I noticed the wisteria was blooming and that's one of my favorite signs of spring!

I'm not sure which is more disturbing, the fact that I'm up at 12:30 a.m. on a week day or that yesterday (as of 30 minutes ago) was St. Patty's day and I didn't even wear green...the thought never even crossed my mind. I always wear green on St. Patty's day! Not because I'm Irish, although that's not out of the realm of possibility, but my name is very Irish and I feel like I have a kinship with that holiday:) Anyway, enough about me...I took a few photos on my way home from work yesterday! I always feel so much better about things after I've been behind a camera for a few minutes.
